Terry MacManus

Terry MacManus is a non-executive member of INAV Group, LLC’s Board and he possesses over 40 years of industry knowledge and expertise. He is a resident of Dublin and spends a frequent amount of time in Chicago.

Terry’s most recent role was CEO of Rotable Asset Management, a spares leasing venture.  Prior to joining Rotable Asset Management, he retired from AAR Corp. in 2000 as the President of the Airframe and Accessories Group.   While at AAR, he led the rapid expansion of his division and developed collaborative relationships with OEM’s and customers.

Before becoming a member of the AAR Corp. team, Terry had a 30 year career with Aer Lingus.  At this company, he spearheaded the creation of Team Aer Lingus, the first stand-alone MRO business to be created by a European or American carrier. Team Aer Lingus, with large capacity for simultaneous B747, B737 and B767 overhaul and a wide spectrum of component maintenance shops, quickly developed significant worldwide market share in Aircraft and Component maintenance support. Terry was also responsible for leading the development of an extensive rotable leasing business.

In 1994, Terry retired from his role as CEO of Team Aer Lingus and his career at the company was comprised of several key positions, notably in Operations and Human Resources Management. In the HR function he negotiated national groundbreaking agreements with unions and directed management training. In Operations he led the team that developed an integrated real time computer flight and ground operations management system, an industry innovation at the time.

Terry has a Masters in Management Science degree from Trinity College in Dublin.
